Aquaventure Water Park
Aquaventure Water Park consists of millions of gallons of water, 20 swimming areas, 11 pools including three kids pools, water slides, a mile-long river ride with high intensity rapids and wave surges. It is the Caribbean’s biggest water-themed attraction.
The 141-acre waterscape of Aquaventure, which is the incredible centerpiece of Atlantis, Paradise Island, is home to a variety of pools, rivers and slides. The six-story Mayan Temple, for instance, where you can plummet down into a shark-filled lagoon that will take your body, mind and spirit on a wild ride. Or the less adventurous lazy river ride, or a zero-entry pool, all with easy access to the white, sandy shores of Paradise Beach. WATER SLIDES
Visitors love Atlantis Paradise Island, and the 120-foot tall Power Tower water slides is just one reason why. There’s The Abyss, a 200-foot body-slide that will send you plunging 50-feet into a lagoon. Or The Drop, where you dare to dive into The Surge, a waterslide roller coaster of many twists and turns. From the iconic Mayan Temple to the ominous Power Tower, Aquaventure has more than 18 thrilling water slides for water-enthusiasts of all ages.
- The Drop – from inside the Power Tower, this single or double inner-tube rides begins with an ominous “drop” through darkness in an enclosed tube. Riders then encounter the open-air twists and turns of this thrilling water slide before splashing down into The Current.
- The Abyss – with a staggering 50-foot near vertical drop through complete darkness within the Power Tower, this thrilling 200-foot-long body slide ends as guests splash through waterfalls and into The Cenote – an underground lair of prehistoric alligator gars and fish
- Mayan Temple – The Leap of Faith slide offers a daring and adventurous 60-foot almost-vertical drop from the top of the world-famous and iconic Mayan Temple. The body slide propels riders at a tremendous speed through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon.
- TheSurge – Starting at 120-foot Power Tower, this inner tube ride features a camel back drop into a cavern, then quickly twists and turns downwards into white-water rapids caused by a flash flood.
RIVER RIDES
Among the many River Rides at Aquaventure is the Lazy River Ride near Beach Tower. Spend a relaxing time float along the quarter-mile lazy river. Or dive into the more adventurous The Current, where guests are pushed along a mile-long river in their inner tubes via water escalators, rolling waves and extreme rapids powered by the latest and greatest technology. Unlike traditional water slides where guests have to exit the water and climb back to the start, enthusiasts on The Current never have to leave the water as they are propelled back up the slide tower via water conveyors.
- Lazy River – enjoy the relaxing and scenic Lazy River Ride, located outside the Beach Tower. Sitting in inner tubes, guests slowly meander around a quarter-mile loop guided by a gentle current through a tropical landscape.
- The Current – Be propelled along through lush, tropical foliage along a mile-long river in their inner tubes via water escalators, rolling waves and extreme rapids powered by master blaster technology. Never leave the water as you are propelled back up the slide tower via water conveyors.

- Atlantis Beach is action packed and located in the heart of Atlantis, closest to The Beach, Coral and Royal Towers.
- Paradise Lagoon Beach – The seven-acre Paradise Lagoon offers snorkeling, paddle boats, and other water sports in a protected environment – great for the kids.
